Well, as you may know, I am a huge fan of Kung Fu Panda 2! Yea, that movie rocked! But, there's one animated film that people say topped this in 2011. They were problably drunk, but that's besides the point. What is it anyway?

Ok, yea, maybe. Now, this film has large history with me. I have been hot and cold with this film. I didn't want to see it because it just didn't seem interesting to me, but I heard it was really good. Later, I said, "Duh, why don't I see duh twailer?". So, I did, and it was awesome, so I checked the next showtime and... it's no longer in theatres. I guess Hawaii doesn't keep their films for very long. Seriously, who would want to live here anyway? Well, now it's on DVD, I saw it, and... it wasn't what I thought it would be. Why? Find out.
Let's talk about the story. Well, it's fun, and actually has a lot of great action sequences, but it isnt' really much of a mystery.

Who do you think is the bad guy? Really, take a wild guess, who is it? But, to be fair, the focus isn't on who did it or who's the bad guy, really the mystery is on the background on Haddock's family and past, something like Kung Fu Panda 2, and that's where most of the mystery, suspence, action, and plot comes from, and they do it well. Now, for the characters...
Ok, Tintin himself. Well, he's kind of bland. Well, he's a pretty good character, he's jsut not very memorable, and considering his name is actually on the title of the film, that isn't very good. But, they make up for it with the best character in the film... Captain Haddock. If I talk about him in detail, it will spoil the plot as said in the paragraph above, all I can say is that he's hilarious, heart warming, and a great role model. Yes, his character development is quite impressive, at the start he's a drunk addict, and at the end, he drinks. Well, at least it's an improvement. I heard there will be 2 more sequels to this, and I'm a little afraid to find this.
The Adventures of Tintin 2
The Mystery of Haddock
The Tales of a Drunk Addict and a Murder
And I'm not even showing you the poster! Anyway, I don't want to spoil anything saying who the villian is but, who am I kidding! Sakharine is a great villian, and just like Haddock, his past is a mystery, and it all links together that everything makes sence. Thomson and Thompson are hilarious. And, that's it. So, what do I think all together?
Story: 87/100 Though one mystery is obvious, the other one is more complex which really is the main focus and they link the two together really well.
Characters: 73/100 All the characters are fun and round, except for the main character.
Comedy: 78/100 Haddock and the two Thomsons, or Thompsons, or whatever, are hilarious! Though, the comedy isn't what stands out!
Heart: 83/100 There is a lot of character development in this movie and the characters, eispecially Haddock, and it all turns out for the good.
Overall: 80.25/100 Overall, with a few minor flaws, is an overall thrill ride of a movie which will keep you invested to the end. But, is it better than Kung Fu Panda 2? Well, I'm not too sure, i'm on and off, because it does some elements better than KFP2, and some things aren't as good. But, I'll get to that conclusion later. So, go see it, it's on DVD, rent or buy it, you won't be dissapointed. So, good day and good night.
Oh, and Snowy! He's fun and cute, but downplayed. So, bye! And next we take a look at a 1997 film about... cats!?
