Ah Cartoon Network. It is childhood with classic cartoons like Edd Ed and Eddy and Foster's Home for Imagianry Friends. They were also known for introducing us to Hanna Barbara. And today, they continue to delight us with... Image as found at http://www.supermhon.com/adventure-time/ DANG IT! I thought that was a nightmare! Yea, Cartoon Network was my childhood and now they show all rubbish! Well, maybe not all rubbish. Yea, I do watch a few of them. Though they never live up to the classics they made before, they are still worth mentioning, and to cover up the shadows and darkness shows like Adventure Time have cast on us, it's good to point out the few good things they are doing. And maybe if we compliment them then they will work harder to bring the old Cartoon Network we knew and loved. So, without further ado, this is the few good shows they managed to squeeze through to this day. 5. Regular Show Ok, I admit. I hate this show, but it's still one of the better shows on the channel. Unlike Adventure Time, they do have some wit and the stories make more sence. Though Adventure Time feels like a parody of a cartoon, this at least feels like an actual cartoon. Though it isn't a good cartoon, it's more pure and fresh then Adventure Time will ever be! Now I can't talk much about this because I don't watch this show as I said I don't like it. But, I can say the few times I did watch this show wasn't unpleasent. Wasn't pleasent either. Pokemon: The Animated Series Image as found on http://kat.ph/pokemon-diamond-and-pearl-galactic-battles-1243-try-for-the-family-stone-c-p-t4132555.html Again, not really a top notch show, but this is my childhood years. As a child I was obsessed with Pokemon, and it was the show that introduced me to my crazy, creepy, and rather unhealthy obsession of Pokemon. This show made me memorize all over 600 pokemon by look, name, and type. I was such a big fan that I went to a vaction at Japan just to go to the Pokemon store and stock up as many as I can fit in two bags. I was that crazy. Now looking back, the show is kind of stupid. It was a merchandising scam to get kids to buy the games and products, but hey, it worked for me! As I'm older, I can't stand this show from plot to diolouge, but as a kid I never watched anything else. And it's still going on today. What other show has more than 13 seasons? Well, the Simpsons, but, eh? 3. Johnny Test Unlike the previous cartoons, I admit to liking this one today. It's about a boy who's older twin sisters are lab geniuses and he is used as a lab rat. That's a pretty good idea. Though there are more villians than in a Batman movie series, and they are just as corney, it's still entertaining to see someone's butt get kicked. Though the animation is kind of hokey and this is one of the corniest shows you will ever see, it's a pretty enjoyable series with adventure and a talking dog. What? Image as found on http://johnnytest.wikia.com/wiki/Johnny_Test_Wiki 2. The Looney Tunes Show Image as found on http://www.irfree.com/tv-shows/56853-the-looney-tunes-show-2011-s01-hdrip-xvid-t00ng0d.html This show raises a lot of questions. How come there are only looney tunes characters in the town and the rest are all humans, yet they never notice. How come Yosemite lives right next door to Bugs and never gets the nerve to finally shoot him. How come this is a sitcom, but there's no camp laughter (Not that I'm against this, I'm actually celebrating that). But, answers are not necessary for seeing the looney tunes characters again and how they communicate alltogether and do in the modern world. That alone is what makes this show good. 1. The Amazing World of Gumball Image as found on http://mastertoons.com/The-Amazing-World-of-Gumball.php Now, this one I needed to grow into liking this. The first few times I saw this I hated it. The intro is only the title of the show, then after that is the same thing for the title of the episode. This is a creative show, it could use a creative intro, but I guess it sort of works. Now, I really do like this show. I love all of the characters, eispecially the mother. Yea, I know, but what can I say, I like mothers who are the only sane ones in the family. My only real complaint with this show is the mixed animation. I just don't think it works to have stop motion, CGI, hand drawn, and everything else into one. But, that's a nitpick. It isn't CartoonNetwork's best, but it's the closest to what we have now. And that's it. Really, that's it. Go outside!
